Cohesive offers a very relaxed and respectful work environment. Everyone is very friendly and keen to make others succeed so we can all share the company’s success together.
What makes you smile the most?
I smile all the time. A good PM should maintain a positive attitude to overcome any challenge.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I am a published novelist. I have 4 published novels.
What did you do before you joined Cohesive?
Before Cohesive, I was the CMS for Turner Broadcasting Facilities, running Maximo. I also worked for the Federal Reserve Bank and I was a military officer.
What’s the biggest learning experience you’ve had since joining Cohesive?
Being a consultant requires a unique approach to work. You are invested in the success of your client, but you also have to stay in your consultant role at all times. It’s an interesting approach to doing work.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I love carousels.
What’s your favorite thing about Cohesive?
The people I work with day to day, everyone is so passionate about what they do and really strive to do the best they can.
What part of your job makes you most excited?
I love starting a new project, understanding the drivers for that particular work, and then seeing that come to fruition.
Why did you take this photo?
I love being close to nature and I love yoga, when I can I bring the two together and do some SUP yoga. Being outside and on the water brings me so much fun, peace, and well needed head space. I would totally recommend this to everyone.
What’s your favorite thing about Cohesive?
Working with a talented and conscientious team of people who are consistently focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing and finding the most efficient and effective way to complete tasks.

Life’s absurd moments!
Why did you take this photo?
I spend my spare time performing music… so it’s my serious sideline that keeps my soul inspired.
What’s your favorite thing about Cohesive?
Cohesive is a young business, what with being made up of numerous acquisitions. The best thing about Cohesive are the opportunities available to people as the business continues to expand into new industries and develop new service offerings.
What makes you smile the most?
Seeing our customers continue to gain value from their EAM Solutions. When this is combined with great feedback from the client for our colleagues efforts on projects, it is a sure way to make me happy.
What are the three things you can’t live without?
Most people who work with me would say my notebook, my pen, and my steel rule, which I constantly have with me. I love to take notes in the old fashioned way, referring to them daily.
What did you do before you joined Cohesive?
Before joining Cohesive, I was a student at the University of Alberta. I graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering – Nanotechnology specialization. I joined Cohesive shortly afterwards and have been learning and growing in my role ever since.
What part of your job makes you most excited?
The most exciting part of the job is the diverse variety of work that’s available to be done. We work in a large variety of industries so there’s always so much to learn. Consulting work is always exciting since each client and project will come with its own distinct quirks and challenges to figure out. The variety helps keeps things fresh!
When are you most inspired?
I’m most inspired when I see others expressing creativity. At work, this could be when colleagues come up with interesting solutions to complex problems. Outside of work, I can quickly fall down a rabbit hole listening to music on YouTube.
What did you do before you joined Cohesive?
I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Cooperative Program in 2018. After completing my undergraduate degree I worked as a consultant in the oil and gas industry.
What’s the biggest learning experience you’ve had since joining Cohesive?
To view potential solutions from different perspectives. By using this technique, I have found it helps me develop a deeper understanding of why the solution was chosen. Therefore, when revisiting it I can assess the impact new changes would have on the process and if there are opportunities for improvements.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I was a competitive swimmer. In the 2013 season for my age group, 17, I placed 27th and 32nd in Canada for the 800 and 1500-meter freestyle, respectively. During my swimming career, I was able to travel across Canada and the United States for very exciting opportunities including training camps and competitions.
What’s your favorite thing about Cohesive?
The people!
What’s the biggest learning experience you’ve had since joining Cohesive?
That it’s okay to have big ideas and big dreams as long as you take ownership, follow through and make them happen
Why did you take this photo?
There are quite a few things that keep me busy in my off time – writing my books, speaking, ‘shushing’ the parrot, ‘shooing’ the cat off the countertops, or gaming with my husband…but my latest thing that has kept me the most active are the puppies that our two shih tzus had in November. 4 girl pups (1 has found her forever home and 3 more to go)!
What part of your job makes you most excited?
New challenges coming across projects, which challenge my skills and make me excited to learn new things.
What’s the biggest learning experience you’ve had since joining Cohesive?
I have been on multiple projects which helped me a lot for learning project consulting from preparing the functional requirements specification, Requirement Gathering, Requirement Analysis, Solution Design Workshop Delivery, Project Planning, Project Implementation, Client Coordination, and supporting client after go-live.
What are the three things you can’t live without?
Family, Friends, and Food.
