In Poland, our role in spearheading this change has been recognised with a prestigious award.
In November, at the Krakow Congress of Entrepreneurship, Cohesive Polska received the Polish Quality Award 2023. Winners must demonstrate the highest standards of services and products.
The event was one of the most important economic events in the country. It included high level representatives from across science, engineering, and technology, as well as distinguished guests and panellists.
It celebrated the success of the technology sector, which has been a key contributor to the country’s annual growth rate of 4.5 per cent in the past 30 years.
Jakub Rumian, Business Development Manager, Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, was interviewed about the award in the Gazeta Wyborcza.
Here, he tells us more.
Q: A strong end to the year Jakub?
A: Yes! This award signifies the culmination of our journey. We have always prioritized delivering high-quality IT projects and the hallmarks of our teams are solid work and dedication to task execution.
Clients appreciate this and they entrust us with the optimization of their critical systems. Earning such trust requires hard work and that hard work has now been recognised.
Q: The slow pace of adoption of digital techniques and capabilities in the infrastructure sector has been well documented. Is the pace now quickening?
A: Companies have realized how important this area is. Additionally, the amount of resources used to achieve business goals and their level of advancement mean that, without the appropriate systems in place, effective management becomes impossible.
Customers today also understand the benefits of managing the entire infrastructure lifecycle, not just the lifecycle phases.
When we design something, we expect appropriate visualization, designs, descriptions, collection of attributes, documentation, etc., which we want to use in subsequent phases such as the construction of this infrastructure (e.g. construction of a technological line), and later in subsequent phases such as its operation and maintenance. Customers now approach the topic of digitalization in this area comprehensively, guided by the fact that information, once it appears, should be used in various processes and stages of the life cycle.
Q: How extensive is the reach of the Cohesive brand?
