London, UK June 12, 2024  – Two executive appointments are set to further cement Cohesive’s position as a leader in the provision of value-led digital solutions to owners and operators of complex infrastructure assets.

Rennie Chadwick is our new Regional Director for UK, Ireland, and the Middle East. He brings more than 35 years’ experience supporting asset intensive organisations and major capital programmes to improve performance through the application of innovative technologies, data and digital strategies, and strategic change management. Previously our EMEA director of Transport & Mobility, Rennie also brings extensive experience in the Energy, Building and Manufacturing sectors.

Andrew Carrie has been appointed Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Director, expanding his existing advisory role. With 15 years’ experience, he will lead EAM across EMEA , supporting asset intensive organisations to exploit digital solutions, including Maximo, and a whole-life, standards-based approach, to gain maximum value from their assets.

Jon Kerbey, Managing Director, EMEA, said: “I’m really pleased to be able to welcome Rennie and Andrew to the Cohesive EMEA Leadership team. They both bring huge amounts of experience and depth of capability, which is one of our core strengths at Cohesive. It provides confidence to our clients that they are working with the very best in our field – a distinction which is evident in the impact that we have.”

The appointments come at a period when asset intensive organisations across all sectors are turning to technology, digital solutions, and expert implementation services, to help them manage their assets more effectively, drive operational efficiencies and meet net-zero goals.

This trend was noted by Verdantix, the independent research and advisory organisation, in its 2024 Green Quadrant report. Demand was being generated, it said, by firms “looking to boost efficiency in production, energy consumption and asset uptime.” It added that the consensus amongst industrial firms was that “digital solutions are integral to remaining competitive,” ensuring that demand was “buoyant.”

The report named Cohesive as a ‘leader’ amongst the ten most prominent providers, giving us the top score in its ‘Green Quadrant’ (2.5/3.0) for our EAM software implementation capabilities and the top score (a perfect 3.0/3.0) for our capabilities in managing the ‘people and change’ aspects of digital transformation.
