Cohesive has won a prestigious IBM award for the first implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) in the Poland, Baltic, Ukraine region in 2023.
The award, received at the IBM Business Partner Summit in Warsaw, acknowledges the work by Cohesive Poland in successfully implementing MAS for Polregio, Poland’s largest rail carrier.
Cohesive’s role in the programme included analysis and design, configuration, tests and training. Our solution also covered areas including automatic scheduling of work orders, a repository of assets, inventory management and planning of preventative maintenance.
The implementation of the advanced IBM solution is empowering Polregio with the capability to more efficiently manage its assets. The on-premises software, which includes advanced analytics, is helping it to increase its resilience against potential challenges and to provide a reliable, safe service for the 97 million passengers who use its services annually.

The award winners were evaluated in as many as 18 categories, including innovation and sustainable development. IBM said they were selected as the best business partners, “in appreciation of their contribution to the development of the business in the past year.”
