Background
When a South African mining company decided to take over the outsourced operation and maintenance of one of its mine’s concentrate plants from its contractor, it decided to invest in IBM Maximo as its new Enterprise Asset Management system covering Asset, Maintenance, Inventory and Procurement Management.
